Carole Thelma Harris went to be with her Lord on April 5, 2017 after a long term illness. Born December 20, 1937 in Ogden, Utah to Thelma June Rose (Walker) and Wiley Rose. During her childhood years she lived in Utah, Washington State and Idaho. Carole married Ivan Hugh Harris in Salmon, Idaho on May 6, 1955. Carole and Ivan had three daughters: Karen Harris (Chapman), Gayle Harris (Langs) and Joyce Harris (Waggerman). Carole was a loving mother and homemaker that worked very hard on her careers as a waitress and in retail sales to raise her family. She loved cooking, painting, sewing, gardening and many other crafts. She loved spending time with her family camping, fishing and entertaining family and friends throughout the holidays with large family gatherings. Carole was a Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. She taught ladies Bible studies and vacation Bible school to many people as well as leading many people to the Lord. She loved reading her Bible and singing Christian music. While raising her family, Carole and Ivan also built many houses throughout the years for their family. Carole worked alongside Ivan through every aspect of the building process. She loved the final products because it was from their imaginations and love that built these beautiful homes. She loved decorating them and they were always heart felt with family in mind. Her favorite theme for her kitchens was always a country theme with chickens. She also had large yards and gardens to help feed her family and beautify the landscaping. Carole was also a member of the Rebecca's Organization of the Odd Fellows where she was a Grand Noble.
