Obituary

Beverly "Bev" Antoinette Thau, 79, lost her battle with lung cancer on December 13, 2024. She was born on February 26, 1945, to Antone and Theresa (Coyne) Lewis. She attended St Elizabeths High School in Oakland, California, and would throw huge parties for the neighborhood while living in Corte Sierra, in Pleasanton California, during her younger years. Once, after a few drinks during a rowdy party, policeman came knocking on the door to maintain the peace, and Bev's response was to invite the men-in-blue in for a drink. Bev also loved cruising with her husband and best friends, Dee and Bob Byers; spending weeks of relaxation and time with family during the summer months at the cabin in Arnold, California; and attending mass where she would find her inner peace as a devoted Catholic. Bev had a few jobs in her life. She spent most of her working years at Pacific Bell where she climbed the ladder until her retirement. Later she decided to search for a position with less responsibility at a semi-conductor company where she became the HR manager. She was a thoughtful and caring person who was a calm source. She would never judge others and often put other's needs in front of her own. Everyone who knew her loved her Beverly is survived by her son, Brian Thau (Meshelle); daughters, Deborah Desrosier (Paul); and Susanne Thau (Devin Simpson). Grandchildren Mikael Thau, Daniel Desrosier, Nykol Zimmerman, Kevin Desrosier. Great grandchild Noah Zimmerman. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Antone and Theresa Lewis; husband, Phillip Thau and granddaughter Cassandra Desrosier.
