Betty Jean Negrette, 74 of Nampa, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 21, 2024. Betty was born on July 16, 1949 in Nampa, Idaho, to John and Frances Santistevan. She then married her high school sweetheart, Daniel Negrette on March 9, 1969. Betty and Danny had one daughter Denetta (Kris) Mora. They moved to McAllen, Texas where they made their home for 6 years, then moved back to Idaho in 1983, where they made their permanent home. Betty worked at Lakeview School as everyone's favorite lunch lady, where she worked until 1998. She then moved on to Paul's Market in Nampa where she worked as a baker for over 10 years. Her final job was at Affinity in Caldwell, in 2007, until she became ill. Betty was a loving, caring Mother and Friend; she was always there to help everyone in need. That's what she will be remembered by most, her fun-loving spirit and heart of gold. She is going to be deeply missed by us all. Betty loved making her cinnamon rolls, wiener wraps, and tamales; spending time with her family and listening to her music. Betty is survived by her daughter, Denetta (Kris) Mora, as well as Ruben (Carole) Santistevan, Genevieve Santistevan, Eleanor (Clemente) Salinas, Verna Lee (Renee) Hernandez, and Patty Mendez. She is also survived by her grandson, Paz (Jessi) Negrette, Diana (Jose) Espinoza, and Andrew Stewart; 7 great grandchildren Deangelo Espinoza, Ronin Espinoza, Caeson Allred, Kailla, Rylan, Natalie Negrette. Many Nieces and Nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Viriginia Marez, Rosalee Barrerio, and grandson Andrew Stewart.

There will be a Family Viewing on Wednesday 24th at 3:30pm to 4:30pm at Zeyer Funeral Chapel at 83 N. Midland Blvd., Nampa, ID 83651. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 27th. 2024 at 2pm at 730 W. Roosevelt Ave Nampa Id 83686
