Obituary

April 20, 1962 – February 27, 2026

April Lynn Bouck, 63, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Boise, Idaho.

Born on April 20, 1962, in Burley, Idaho, April lived her life as a free spirit with a creative soul. She was artistic and expressive and walked to the rhythm of her own heart. She saw the world differently—with imagination, compassion, and depth.

April worked as a caregiver, dedicating her time to helping others in moments when they needed support the most. She also had a deep love for animals and was a true animal humanitarian, always showing tenderness and advocacy for those without a voice.

She was a woman of faith and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Above all, April was a loving and caring mother. Her children were an important part of her life, and her love for them was steady and enduring. She is survived by her son, William Bouck, and his children, Scarlet Pearl, Wyatt Andrew, and Bodhi Clay; her son, Travis Evans, and his children, Leo Maddoc, Hazelie Faith, and soon-to-be baby boy Evans; and her daughter, April Elizabeth.

Her grandchildren were a deeply meaningful part of her life and legacy. She fully embraced becoming a "Mooma," her special name for grandma—a title she wore proudly. Being a grandmother was a role that brought her joy and purpose.

She is also survived by her older brother, Richard Bouck, and her younger sister, Tammy Bouck, both of Virginia.

April will be remembered for her artistic spirit, her compassion, and the individuality she carried throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on March 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Zeyer Funeral Chapel.
