Ann June Collins was born on February 16, 1942 and died on January 26th 2025 of natural causes. She was the first of seven children born to Rolla Ted McBride and Nellie Armedia Taylor. Ann grew up in Kuna. She spent her days working in her family's fields and around their dairy farm. Ann attended Kuna High School. It was there she met her high school sweetheart Gary Collins. They married on August 21, 1959, in Kuna. Their first daughter, Debbie, was born on March of 1960. Within the next four years they welcomed three boys, David, Steve, and Brent. Sixteen years later, they welcomed twins Merilee and Kaylee. Ann was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in all callings including supporting her husband as a Bishop, Relief Society President, and in the Stake Relief Society and Primary. In later years, she enjoyed working for the Nampa School District in food services and made many friendships. Ann supported Gary as he served in the Idaho State Legislative for 20 years. Her true joy in life was her family. She walked alongside them and supported them in everything they did. She loved being a grandma and attending all her grandkids activities. Ann enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling all over the world. One of Gary and Ann's favorite trips was when they visited Israel. To Ann, family was everything and she was so loved by all. Ann is survived by her six children, Debbie Simpson (Mark), David Collins (Anna), Steve Collins (Nancy), Brent Collins (Sabra), Merilee Collins (Nathaniel), Kaylee Verstoppen (Trampus); 19 grandchildren and 26 great-Grandchildren. Three brothers, Ted (Rena) Bill (Irene), Glen (Ginny), and three sisters Nancy, Kay, Diana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary, parents Rolla and Nellie, and Grandson Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 7809 Deer Flat Road, Nampa Idaho, with a viewing from 9:00 to 9:45 prior to the services.
