Anita Kay
Adams
d. Feb 23, 2024
On Friday, February 23, 2024, in Nampa, ID at Meadow View Rehabilitation and Nursing, Anita Kay (Eichmann) Adams went home to her Living Lord, Jesus Christ. She succumbed to COPD and many COPD attributable conditions, that she had battled for many years. She ascended at 8:45 AM peacefully, pain-free, and relaxed with her family by her side.
Anita was born January 26, 1936, to Robert D. and Jennie M. (Thomas) Eichmann in Bozeman, Montana. Her family moved a few times during her childhood, but eventually landed in Polson, Montana. She graduated from Polson High School in 1955. Anita met Gary T. Adams at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. They were married in March of 1957. They welcomed their first son, Devin T. Adams later that year in Portland, Oregon. In 1958, they welcomed their second son, Sean D. Adams in Salem, Oregon. In 1959 they welcomed their daughter, Janyl R. (Adams) Rines, in Salem, Oregon. Then 4 years later, in 1963, their family was completed with Brendan E. Adams in Salem. Oregon.
From 1980-1997, Nita ran the Crawdad Café at Camp Tuffit on Lake Mary Ronan. She was the light of the café and during this time, everyone loved to visit her and eat her delicious food. Once Nita was finished with her time at the Crawdad Café, she became a full-time grandma. She loved every minute of spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nita loved them all with everything she had. Nita is survived by her 4 children, Devin (Karalee) Adams of Nampa, Idaho, Sean (Caroline) Adams of Goodyear, Arizona, Janyl (Adams) Rines, Brendan (Sharon) Adams, 10 grandchildren (Jeniffer, Angela, (Jeremy), Jason, Dane (Chistina), Ashley, Paige (Daniel), Christopher, Barndon, Matthew (Elizabeth), Johnathan, 23 great-grandchildren, a nephew and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert D. Eichmann of Beaverton, Oregon and Jennie M. (Thomas) Eichmann of Nampa, Idaho, sister Joan (Eichmann) Luse of Spokane Washington, son-in-law Mark P. Rines of Caldwell, Idaho, grandson Anthony M. Rines of Caldwell, Idaho, uncles Gordon Eichmann of Boise, Idaho and US Naval Captain, John Eichmann, and nephew Mark Luse of Spokane, Washington. A celebration of life will be held on 9 July 2024 in Proctor Montana at Lake Mary Ronan. If you would like to attend the celebration, please reach out to Devin Adams at devint822@gamil.com
In lieu of flowers or cards, the family would like to put a duck pond in at Meadow View Rehabilitation and Nursing. Please contact Devin to arrange help with this.
