Mihai Dembi, 84 years old, died on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 due to respiratory and heart failure. Mihai was born on May 1, 1936 in Permet, Albania to Costea Dhembi and Varvara Fele. He was the youngest of 4 children. Mihai grew up in Communist Romania. He worked as a machinist for Autobus. He was an avid reader, loved literature, classic books, philosophy, psychology, history, Greek mythology, etc. He could discuss and debate any topic at length. Mihai had a quote or a song for any life event. He dreamed of coming to America and giving his family the American dream. In October of 1979, he emigrated to the U.S.A. He worked as a property manager in Anaheim, California. He recently moved to Nampa, Idaho. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Velica Dembi, and 3 children, Marian Dembi, Nicoleta Dembi, and Doris Dembi. His grandchildren, Danny Flonta, Tanya Flonta, Madison Ingrassano, and Luciano Ingrassano lovingly know him as "Tataie". Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22nd at 10 am at Kohlerlawn Cemetery 76 6th Street North, Nampa.
