Obituary for Jennie "LaReve" Gifford Pulver

Our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother passed away and was greeted by our Heavenly Father and multiple family members on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2018) in Nampa, Idaho. At the time of her passing her favorite Christmas song, “Silent Night” was playing in her hospital room. She was born on December 2, 1931 in Osgood, Idaho to Rural and Jennie Gifford.
During World War II She loved to travel the Northwest with her family building military barracks and swimming all summer long. Shortly after high school LaReve married, moved to Oregon and had four beautiful children. She later moved back to Boise, Idaho and raised her four children as a single parent. LaReve married Ralph Pulver on August 2, 1968 in Boise, Idaho and they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 17, 1970. They added two additional children to their family.
LaReve was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints where she had served in multiple callings. She managed Jenny’s Crafts for 25 years in Garden City, Idaho before retiring and moving to Nampa, Idaho. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and special, her smile could light up any room. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, camping, painting, playing cards, and most of all spending time with her large family.
